The Paradox of Obedience

I was reading John 15 this morning and was so blessed by God by it.
Check this out:
“Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. So stay in My love.
You will stay in My love, if you keep My commands just as I keep My Father’s commands and remain in His love.”
Notice how you are loved before you do anything.
“I already love you and so if you want to experience the fullness of My love for you, do what I would do.”
So somehow, some way, our living like Jesus keeps us in His love!
Therefore, obedience is not this “weighty” thing that causes us to lose more than we gain.
We are remaining in LOVE as we live like Jesus.
So obedience is a gift.
It keeps us in Jesus’ love.
And when we are in Jesus, “You will bear much fruit.”
And “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Therefore, the more we live like Jesus, the more LOVE, JOY, PEACE, and LIFE we experience.
