How can you be in ministry if you don’t work at a church?
Well.
What is ministry?
Is ministry concealed to Sunday?
What do we minister?
How do we minister things?
Ministry is more than preaching the Good News of forgiveness, though that is part of forgiveness.
Ministry is every second of your life.
Every minute, you are ministering something.
How?
The way you speak influences how the people around you speak.
The tone of your language influences the emotions of the people’s response to what you’re saying.
The things you do or don’t do influence other people to either do what you do or don’t do what you don’t do.
The things you value influence the things other people value.
If you value the presence of Jesus, other people are more likely to hunger for the presence of Jesus.

If you speak compassionately, filled with grace, mercy, and gentleness, other people are more likely to speak with compassion, filled with grace, mercy, and gentleness.
If you talk about Jesus, other people are more likely to bring up Jesus in their other conversations.
If you read the Bible consistently, and people know you value that routine, other people are more likely to be inspired by your example and do it too.
You see?
All of your life ministers a culture.
The question is, “What kind of culture are you inspiring or directing people’s attention to?”
Because as a Christian, you bear the Name of Jesus.
When people look at you, do they see Jesus?
Do they think, “Wow that person is really different, what is it about them that makes them like that?”
Jesus.
Jesus does that.
So be aware,
You bear the Name of Jesus.
Wear Him well ♥️
